Membership

The ASSOCIATION has members in 45 countries across all five continents. This gives members communication with an increasing number of women who are working in Physical Education and Sport throughout the World.

IAPESGW is a member of ICSSPE ( International Council of Sport and Physical Education ). IAPESGW members are given a code to access the publications of ICSSPE online.

IAPESGW is a member of IWG (International Women’s Group) .One of the Executive Board sits on the IWG Board.

The Association has a Congress every four years in different countries and alternating across the five continents. Members are offered reduced registration fees to attend the Congress.

The Association distributes two Newsletters and one Journal each year. Members can submit articles to any of the IAPESGW publications.

Members can compete for the Kluka - Love Award which is given to the woman (under 35 years of age) who is judged to present the best scientific paper at each Congress. This award is worth US $500.

Two other wards: the Lynn Vendien Award and the Dorothy Ainsworth Award are also worth US $500. These awards are presented to members who have given service to the Association. (Full details from the Secretary)

Individual membership: £50 sterling or $90USD for four years
Affiliate organization membership: £50 sterling or $90USD annually
